ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1- Communication & digital media

 

• Responsible and accountable for the development and implementation of the communication & digital media strategy:

• Design social media strategies to achieve marketing targets

• Develop effective digital action plans using appropriate strategies and tactics

• Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media

• Manage, create and publish original, high quality content

• Create content for press releases, online articles and keynote presentations

• Analyze results of PR & digital campaigns or efforts and prepares reports

 

2- Manage external communication

 

• Newsletter, yearly activity report, yearly magazine

• Social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, twitter) + any new recommended tool

• Follow-up and update of the website (TDL)

 

3- Follow-up on internal communication

 

• Internal newsletter, events

• Facebook, webs, blog

• Printing partners

 

4- Events and food shows

 

• Assist in event planning and implementation according to requirements, target audience and objectives

• Assist in promotion of products and services during events

• Coordinate the design of promotional material and distributes in online and offline channels

• Assist in events budgets preparation and adherence

• Assist in sourcing and negotiating with vendors and suppliers

• Prepare material for stands (branding, communication, decoration etc.)

• Lead communication & promotional activities for the event

 

5- Marketing and branding activities

 

• Support in design (promotional tools…)

• Print and follow up national and international labels

Adherence to the fair trade standards, policies and guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in public relations, communication and marketing management

Solid knowledge of marketing, PR and digital media techniques and principles

Solid knowledge of social media (blogs, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)

Proven experience in coordinating and managing effective campaigns through various channels

Excellent writing and speaking skills in English and French – Arabic is a plus

Previous experience with NGO &/or FMCG is a plus
